The project is part of PECO's System 2020 plan to install advanced equipment and reinforce the electric system, making it more weather resistant and less vulnerable to storm damage. They will be upgrading 3000' of existing districubtion lines and building 3000' of new lines along Flint Hill Rd. The majority of the work will occur along Flint Hill Rd between Good Hope Rd and Strickersville Rd. Crews may need to temporarily interrupt electric service to safely complete some of the work. The goal is to reduce the number of interuptions in the area and reduce the duration when they do occur.
The process is expected to begin November 2023 with completion by March 2024.
